About Zen Human Design
Zen Human Design goes all the way back to the beginnings of the Human Design System in America. In 1993, pioneers Zeno and Chaitanyo hosted Ra Uru Hu to introduce Human Design to the first US audience and to educate the first handful of people as analysts. New Sun Services America was founded to promote Human Design in America and to educate an ever growing number of analysts and teachers.
Right from the start, Zeno felt that to teach Human Design was her calling, while Chaitanyo was more interested in the aspects of organizing the information, illustrating it and making it available in easy to understand, graphic form. His course materials, books, ephemerides and audio productions have helped many, many Human Design students.
Both worked diligently over a number of years, running the Human Design School with annual clusters of classes with Ra, and funneling students through Basic, Advanced and Analyst trainings. In 1997, Basic and Advanced trainings were made available for the first time as correspondence classes to a quickly growing body of students and New Sun Services was the first presence of Human Design on the internet with www.humandesignsystem.com (it would be the lone Human Design site for another three years).
By 1999 it became clear that the Human Design School had become a memorization program that depended on repeating phrases and names and that the then overriding premise of No Choice meant Human Design could be used as a perfect excuse for irresponsible behavior (“it’s my design!”). After a split from Ra, Zeno and Chaitanyo founded zc design to reflect independence.
Zeno embarked on an inspired, years-long search through the four elements of the Human Design synthesis to see how their spiritual paths might integrate. She found the point of conscious choice embedded in each element and then could synthesize the knowledge anew. The result is a pure, classic Human Design System based on the original revelation, free from interpretation, labels and rules -- an honest tool for self-reflection, self-awareness and spiritual growth.
To describe the newly found understanding, the name of the company was changed to Zen Human Design in 2009. Zen Human Design offers readings, classes, trainings and materials for those people who are interested in using Human Design to become more conscious.
