What does 2012 have in store for you?
The big calendar year ahead brings the mandate to live as consciously, respectfully and kindly as possible. Of course, not everyone is signed up for the task to use the stresses of this intensification time we're in to wake up. Currently, there is a big grassroots movement polarizing the 99%/1% as the haves (who must be stricken from seemingly incurable greed) and have nots (or at not so much), that focuses on the subject of distribution of resources.
There is another polarity of the 1% vs the 99% as the 1% of those who meditate, who are on the path to enlightenment vs those who are mired in the darkness, afraid to move out from the shadows where the illusion of safety keeps one comfortable.
If you are not yet using the stresses and pressures to remind yourself that this entire thing: the body, the house, property, lovers, is temporary and the primary meditation is to be grateful for your life, it's not going to get easier. If, on the other hand, you are practicing acceptance and appreciation for your life, the year ahead, while bringing huge environmental, political and social upheaval, is also the most fascinating time to be on earth and watch.
When you play your part with grace, you're part of the "100th monkey" of our shift into the evolutionary task to bring awareness into the Solar Plexus. The year ahead is predicted to continue with the radical weather and social changes. We're not going back, and we are all mortal.

New for 2012! The Coaching Intensive
In answer to a dilemma I've had for a while, I am very pleased to announce the creation of a three-month long coaching program to help you jumpstart the application of Human Design in your life.
This begins with a video overview displaying the relevant aspects of what the chart has to teach you. This is followed by three 60 minute consultations using up to six charts of the most influential conditioning people (kids, parents, partners, lovers, etc.)

Professional Certification Program Report
A year ago, I offered a Zen Human Design Professional Certification Program for the first time to establish an approach to Human Design that is effective and transferable. Some of you who know me recognize how completely trapped I have been arguing my case that Human Design is actually easy, that it doesn't have to be something you impose on yourself to fit inside anyone's interpretation, but that it is profoundly self-teaching once you get the mechanical structure of the body graph (doing and waiting, definition types, centers defined and undefined) and recognize what to observe about how you condition others (so you get to see yourself reflected back) and how others condition you.
It has been enormously gratifying to see the participants grow in their competency, make useful experiments and realize that it's true that for someone new to their design, you need to stick with the first lessons and not get swept up by all the glorious details that fascinate.
As the first of the participants finish up their 12 sessions, and I create an exam specific to each person, it is a thrill for me to get their feedback and to see their progress. I am happy to report that the Zen Human Design training works and the students actually can see and make meaning of the body graph!
For 2012, I now plan the second year program that includes the lessons to teach skills needed to start a Human Design business. This includes business models, counseling skills, ethics, coaching techniques and parenting skills. |

Weekly Class Subscription: Gates & Channels
Your study of the Human Design System ideally starts with a solid understanding of the Body Graph, Definition Type and Mode (Lesson 1) and then proceeds through a few months of observing centers and conditioning (Lesson 2).
Thereafter, you can start looking at the specifics for how definition happens. Learning the location of the 64 gates can happen organically just by learning a few of the key ones in your own chart or other significant charts.
This weekly hour spent on observing hexagrams and lines in context with their channels gives you an invaluable means to slowly integrate gates and channels into your own understanding.
Uses the Book of Changes and the Unchanging Truth by Hua-Ching Ni.
The class consist of weekly calls in which Zeno presents a lesson on one to two hexagrams.
