About Human Design
To what extent can a Human Design chart reveal your career path?
If you have a career choice in mind, it's very possible to use the chart to evaluate how to approach any given field of work. If you have no clue as to what you want to do, or what you'd be good at, Design can point out conditions or characteristics that might guide the decision toward a more suitable type of work.
For example, you might be a person who is much better off working by yourself, choosing when you'd like to meet with others, rather than having demands placed on you by the outer environment. When you're a clerk at a store, the customer comes in and you have to serve. That doesn't work well for everyone.
Do you want to be the boss? There are indications in the chart for this. The criteria for finding the right fit with work has a number of components. Design can help enormously, but it will not be able to determine that a person should study biology versus history. It can point to certain pressures within the person when the job description clearly looks for something that is not natural to the Design.
Design is an excellent adjunct to a career coach who can assist and uncover what the person's inclination is, and as such, can be used in a career consultation very effectively. It just won't state, “this is the chart of a ______ profession.”
